Participant Consent & Enrolment Agreement
Cohort 1 · Begins September 8, 2026 · Last updated: June 12, 2026
This agreement is between you (the "Participant") and 2697988 ALBERTA INC. ("ReLit Practice™," "we," "us"). It covers both enrolment tiers — The Program and The Intensive. The tier you've enrolled in is the one shown on your order confirmation, and the tier-specific terms below apply accordingly. It takes effect when you complete enrolment and confirm your agreement at checkout. Please read it before you enroll. If anything is unclear, ask us before you pay.
1. What you've enrolled in
ReLit Practice™ is a professional development experience for helping professionals navigating burnout, moral injury, vicarious trauma, and the systemic strain of clinical work.
The Program ($1,297 CAD founding) includes a structured digital course, a private cohort community, group onboarding, and sign-up-based hot-seat coaching across the cohort term.
The Intensive ($3,497 CAD founding) includes everything in The Program, plus individual elements: asynchronous voice-message check-ins and one-to-one sessions, including a Schema Mapping Session in Week 1.
Both tiers draw on established clinical and organizational frameworks — among them the work of Skovholt and Trotter-Mathison, Maslach and Leiter, moral injury literature, schema theory, and nervous-system regulation. These frameworks are offered as professional education and a lens for self-reflection, not as treatment delivered to you.
2. The nature of this relationship
This is the section that matters most, so it's first.
ReLit Practice™ is education and professional development. It is not clinical care. Your participation — in either tier — does not create a therapist–client relationship, a counselling relationship, or any form of clinical or regulatory supervision between you and ReLit Practice™ or its facilitators.
For The Intensive specifically: the one-to-one sessions and voice-message check-ins are professional-development mentoring and coaching focused on your practice sustainability and your professional self-understanding. They are not psychotherapy, clinical treatment, or clinical/regulatory supervision. The Schema Mapping Session applies schema concepts to your own professional patterns as reflective professional development — not as schema therapy delivered to you. The voice-message check-ins are asynchronous, are not monitored in real time, and are not a channel for clinical emergencies or crisis support.
Nothing in either tier is a substitute for your own therapy, your own clinical or regulatory supervision, your own legal or professional advice, or your own clinical judgment. If you are carrying something that needs clinical or supervisory support, please seek it from the appropriate professional.
You remain fully responsible for your own practice — for your clients, your clinical decisions, your record-keeping, and your obligations to your regulatory college and professional code of ethics. Content shared in ReLit Practice™ is general professional education and is not tailored to the facts of any specific client or situation.
3. What's included and how you access it
On enrolment you'll receive access to the course materials, the private cohort community, onboarding, and the coaching elements for your tier. Access is for you alone, as a single named participant, and is not transferable or shareable. Materials are released on the schedule set for the cohort. Intensive participants schedule their one-to-one sessions directly with us; sessions are reserved for the named participant and follow the timing set for the cohort.
4. The cohort space and confidentiality
ReLit Practice™ is a peer space among colleagues. A few expectations make it safe to use well:
Hold peer confidentiality. What colleagues share in the community or in coaching stays in the cohort. Don't repeat, screenshot, or circulate others' contributions outside the group.
The community is not a confidential or privileged record. It's a shared professional space hosted on third-party software. Share at your own discretion and only what you're comfortable having other members read.
Protect your clients. If you bring a case or clinical example, de-identify it and share only what's needed to make your point. You know this; we're naming it so the standard is explicit and shared.
Your individual Intensive sessions are private between you and your facilitator and are not shared with the cohort.
5. Respectful participation
This is a space for honest, collegial, sometimes uncomfortable conversation about sustainable practice. We expect respect for other members across difference. Harassment, discrimination, breaches of peer confidentiality, or conduct that makes the space unsafe for colleagues may result in removal without refund, at our discretion. Removal for conduct does not waive any amount still owing under a payment plan.
6. What ReLit Practice™ does and doesn't promise
Both tiers are built on solid frameworks and honest peer work, but outcomes depend on your circumstances, your context, and what your systems allow. We don't promise specific results — reduced burnout, income changes, or any particular professional outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReLit Practice™ is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your participation. Nothing in this section limits rights you have under applicable law.
7. Materials and intellectual property
All course content, frameworks, worksheets, recordings, and materials are owned by or licensed to ReLit Practice™ and provided to you for your own professional use. You may use them in your own practice and learning. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or republish them, or use them to build a competing program, without written permission.
8. Recordings
Group sessions or coaching calls may be recorded for participants who can't attend live. If you speak, ask a question, or appear on a recorded group session, you consent to that recording being shared within the cohort. Individual Intensive sessions are private and are recorded only with your agreement. Let a facilitator know about any recording preference and we'll do our best to accommodate.
9. Privacy
We collect the information needed to enrol you, deliver the program, and stay in touch about it, and we handle it in line with Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). We don't sell your information. Some of it is processed by the third-party platforms that run the course, community, payments, and email. By enrolling, you consent to this collection and use for the purposes of delivering ReLit Practice™.
10. Payment & Refund Policy
Price and currency. The Program is offered at $1,497 CAD (Early enrollment is $1297) and The Intensive at $3,997 CAD (Early enrollment is $3497). The price you pay is the price shown at checkout for the tier you enrol in. All prices are in Canadian dollars; applicable taxes, if any, are shown before you confirm. If you pay from outside Canada, your card issuer sets the exchange rate and any foreign-transaction fee.
Payment options. You may pay in full or, where offered, enrol in a payment plan.
Payment plan terms. A payment plan is a commitment to the full enrolment price for your tier, not a subscription you can stop at will. You authorize automatic charges to your payment method on the schedule shown at checkout. If a payment fails, we'll attempt to reach you and re-run the charge, and access may be paused while a payment is outstanding — for Intensive participants, this includes scheduled one-to-one sessions. Persistent non-payment may result in removal from the cohort, and the balance remains owing.
Full refund before services begin. Services are considered to commence at the earlier of (a) the moment you're granted access to any course content or the cohort community, or (b) the cohort start date, September 7, 2026. For The Intensive, the one-to-one component begins at your first scheduled session (note that the Schema Mapping Session is scheduled in Week 1). You may cancel and receive a full refund of everything paid at any time before services commence. Refunds are issued within 15 days to your original payment method.
After services begin. Once you've been granted access or the cohort has started, the program is a limited-seat, fixed-cohort experience, and amounts paid are non-refundable, except: (a) as required by law (see Your statutory rights, below); (b) where we agree in writing to a transfer to a future cohort instead of a refund; or (c) at our discretion in genuine exceptional circumstances.
For The Intensive: any one-to-one sessions already delivered are non-refundable in all cases. If a refund or deferral is agreed after some individual sessions have occurred, the value of delivered sessions and resources may be deducted.
Deferral. If the timing becomes wrong for you, you may request to move your enrolment to the next available cohort instead of cancelling. Deferrals are granted once, at our discretion; confirming a deferral releases your seat in the current cohort.
Exceptional circumstances. If a serious medical, family, or personal emergency prevents you from continuing, contact us. We can't promise an outcome, but we'll consider deferral or a partial refund in good faith.
If we change or cancel the cohort. If we cancel Cohort 1 or materially change its start date or format and you don't wish to continue, you'll receive a full refund of everything paid.
Chargebacks. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — most issues resolve quickly. Initiating a chargeback where no refund is owed under this policy or by law may result in loss of access while the dispute is reviewed.
How to cancel. Send written notice to info@relitpractice.com with your name and the email used to enroll. Your cancellation takes effect on the date we receive it.
11. Your statutory rights (Alberta)
This agreement does not limit your rights under Alberta's Consumer Protection Act and Internet Sales Contract Regulation, which cannot be waived by contract. Among other rights, you may cancel for a full refund at any time before services commence; within 7 days of receiving your copy of this agreement if required information wasn't disclosed or you weren't given a clear chance to accept, decline, or correct errors before purchase; or within 30 days of purchase if you weren't provided a copy. Where these rights apply, refunds are made within 15 days of your notice.
12. Changes to this agreement
We may update this agreement for future cohorts. The version you agreed to at enrolment governs your participation in Cohort 1.
13. Acknowledgment & consent
By enrolling and confirming on the order form, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this agreement, and you agree that:
The tier you have enrolled in (The Program or The Intensive) is the one shown on your order confirmation.
ReLit Practice™ is professional development and education, not clinical care, counselling, or supervision, and does not create a therapist–client or supervisory relationship — including the one-to-one sessions and check-ins in The Intensive.
You remain solely responsible for your own clinical practice, decisions, clients, and professional and regulatory obligations.
You will hold peer confidentiality and protect client confidentiality in the cohort space.
You have read and agree to the Payment & Refund Policy above, and you understand your statutory cancellation rights.
You consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described.
